Ava DuVernay and Autumn Riley

Ava DuVernay was born on August 24 1972 at Long Beach California. DuVernay was instilled with the desire to explore her love of art by her aunt Denise as a young child. She worked as a night nurse in order to give her mother the time she required in the days to be able to enjoy the arts, literature and theater.
